In our emerging society with rapid industrialization and Technological advancement, MANAGEMENT EDUCATION is becoming very relevant. There are numerous institutes to impart Management Education, the top most being the I.I.M.’s, recognized all over the world. This education is, however, very expensive and as on date not with in the reach of common man. This result in either some intelligent students to go for loan to pursue their studies or forget about their dream of getting the coveted and much sought after MBA degree. To help fulfill the dreams of such students who do not have adequate monetary support, we are trying with our idea of providing quality MANAGEMENT EDUCATION at NO COST, is the concept of DREAM UNIVERSITY. To make it possible, we seek patronage + help from our considerate countrymen, who may sympathize with the plight of our less fortunate brethrens and let them acquire the degree of MBA and be able to get a good start in their career.
The beginning of the DREAM UNIVERSITY will, however, be from a modest Institute, initially offering MBA programs in 4/5 disciplines. Gradually this institute to develop and expand in to multi-disciplined one and finally take the shape of a University.

The students to be admitted should be very brilliant having cleared relevant MBA entrance exams i.e., CAT, MAT, XAT etc. with good score. Our vision is the internationalization of higher education in India by the establishment of a new university, attached to locale and technology-driven and informal and social networks-driven global channels for flows of academics, ideas, research, program designs for curriculum and mentoring of undergraduate/graduate students.
Our Mission is to enhance international and regional perspectives of developing university, while meeting the India’s developing need for higher education. Use website IT platform, tools and other technologies and other technologies to build a database to assist management careers and encourage participation between and among expatriate and local professionals. Spread internationalized and culturally attuned university perspectives.

We shall use an evolving global network to determine our philosophy, theory, and policy for a highly interconnected web of academics, post doctorates, independent scholars, under graduate/graduate/ students /aspirants of management education. The project’s growing membership and both internet-driven and informal networks will provide global information, ideas, and knowledge channels; we are poised to share ideas, information, and knowledge of country and regional variations in teaching, learning, research, and living.

Who we wish to be; DMU will be an Indian international organization focusing on the long-term development of Management Professionals as ambassadors of global understanding and learning. Our team of professors, fellows, countrymen, using culturally appropriate methods and attitudes, works toward the goal of providing, university teaching, mentoring and curriculum development, disseminating pertinent data and research, and providing the cultural sophistication and background needed to address global pedagogical /curriculum issues.

Our Strengths to be as an independent non-profit organization DMU will have the freedom to develop a professorial network with long-term commitment to management education in India. DMU would be respected career path in its own right as an international organization composed of a faculty of academics. We will associate with new undergraduates/graduates, mid-career switchers, early retirees and emeritus professors. DMU will focus on culturally appropriate curriculum design and development, mentoring, and teaching methodologies. This includes understanding and reconciling local knowledge and international and regional concerns in methodological approaches to higher education. Thus, DMU will provide the support and knowledge necessary to further higher education in India free from bias or competing agendas. DMU will contribute significantly to internationalizing management education facilities in India. We shall work toward a consensual definition of international higher education that recognizes the importance of culture and international relations. The outcome of this work will be international networks and cooperation fostering a body of knowledge needed to create a more harmonious interdependence as well as an international management education. DMU will advance the aim of providing universal access to higher education in India based on merit alone for all students who wish to learn and contribute back to their communities.
Our Goals as the organization will continue to grow, DMU plans to leverage its resources and expertise to create a solid foundation for internationalizing higher education in India by, plans to generate and procure the funds required to fill the gap between salaries that can be paid by its institutions and incomes needed to cover living expenses such as health insurance and retirement contributions. These supplementary incomes will be based upon cost of living in India and benefits structure. DMU will begin to assemble a network of undergraduates/graduates, mid-career switchers, early retirees and emeritus professors. The network will also direct culturally appropriate research in curriculum design, mentoring and pedagogical methods, dedicated to the formation of an international perspective and standard in India. DMU will regularly collect and disseminate relevant data, thereby furthering the academic study of cross-cultural international-level teaching. DMU will supervise and study pedagogical experience from within its own fields of expertise in order to develop the full potential of this career. DMU will work towards internationalizing higher education teaching methods, curriculum design and mentoring in India.
About Us; the greatest obstacles to Indian institutions providing high-quality management education center around funding, curriculum, and retention. Management education in India is expensive and heavily burdens aspirants and their parents, especially those of the poorer families of India. Yet, an educated population is a key factor in leading a country out of poverty and into economic productivity. One size does not fit all in higher education for India. Much of western policy, science, and technology offers little discourse and instruction on the majority of the India’s environmental, population, and security issues/needs. Many educated citizens of India choose to pursue higher education and their careers in India. While these students/scholars have the opportunity to contribute to their discipline and benefit from fully developed economic and political systems for themselves and their children, their absence is often to the detriment of their home nations which would benefit from their expertise and experience. At present, there are many educated scholars in India, who, with proper institutional support, could make a valuable contribution to education in India.

DMU goal is to engage professors and instructors from India within India. As a part of this process, Indian Professors, Instructors and Fellows will be drawn from the pool of unemployed and underemployed Ph.D.’s in India. DMU aims to support and supplement the salaries of scholars who live and teach in India. By helping to mitigate the financial barriers, DMU will help to provide a more stable and enduring platform for the work of internationalizing higher management education in India. DMU will encourage broad circulation of opinion, information, theory, and research with differing perspectives. We will help to enable India to more confidently and freely set forth countries’ higher education ideas, approaches, and values. The work of DMU will be informed and framed by collaboration with Indian individuals whose intimate knowledge of political, cultural, and social issues/needs is integral to the internationalization of higher education process in India. DMU will seek to focus on Indian university curricula covering: International Higher Education, International Business, International and Cross-cultural Social Science, Sustainable Science, Sustainable Economics, International and Regional Migration and Labor, and International and Regional Social Identity.

Your active engagement is needed so that DMU can greatly enlarge its corps of academic citizens of India in world teaching, developing university libraries, designing culturally appropriate curricula, and mentoring fledgling professors in India. Through this work, DMU is committed to developing and fostering international perspectives, knowledge and understanding. By supporting DMU ,you will: Assist in educating Under graduates /graduates /Aspirants of Management Education in India struggling in India, helping to create and maintain for the long-term a large supply of Management Professionals on Indian campuses. These men and women fill new positions and replace professionals lost to the ongoing “brain drain” from India. Help to provide for needed expertise in academic programs in India. Aid in the critically needed design and development of courses in the social and physical sciences and in engineering disciplines. Support the introduction of higher education administrative expertise in India. Perhaps most significantly, enhance mutual understanding across cultures in India at a time when the need for cultural knowledge and understanding grows in importance each passing year.
