Drucker School of Management,
The Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management at Claremont Graduate University, located in Southern California, is a unique management school dedicated to training students to become effective and ethical leaders, strategists, and visionaries in whatever organization they serve.
The School of Management was founded in 1971 and is located on the main campus, in its own building, Burkle Building. The basic educational approach is to focus on developing leaders with a humanitarian approach to management, by using the Socratic method and a case study approach.
About the Campus
Drucker School of Management is located in Claremont, California in Los Angeles County. Claremont ranked #5 on Money Magazine’s list of the “Best Places to Live” in a 2007 Money Magazine ranking of the top 100 towns and cities in America. They called Claremont “the City of Trees and PhDs,” as they placed them 1st in the West. The Burkle Building is home to both the Drucker School and the Drucker Institute
About the Faculty
The faculty at the Drucker School set the benchmark for the highest standards of academic excellence. The faculty is committed to creating a learning dialogue that will prepare students to handle the complex challenges of the 21st century.
At the Drucker School, students have access to experts in strategic management, leadership, marketing management, new venture finance, and global markets. These senior scholars produce influential publications and guide private, public and non-profit organizations in best practices.
Programs Offered
Drucker School of Management includes the following programs: Master of Business Administration (MBA); Fully-Employed (part-time) MBA; Executive MBA; Master of Science in Financial Engineering; Masters in Arts Management; Masters in Science in Advanced Management; and Ph.D. Program. The School also offers several joint programs: MBA/JD, Masters of Arts in Politics, Economics and Business, and MBA/Public Health.
The Drucker MBA program is designed for professionals in the early- to mid-stages of their careers who are ready to lead and inspire others. The flexible MBA curriculum allows for both full-time and part-time enrollment and students are able to select an area of concentration in Strategy, Finance, Marketing, Leadership, Global Management, or Nonprofit Management. We also offer joint and dual degrees in Financial Engineering, Arts Management, Public Health, and Politics, Economics, & Business.
Students are also able to take courses outside of the management program in the areas of Biosciences and Bio Engineering, Psychology, Politics and Policy, Economics, Information Sciences, Public Health, Human Resources, and other disciplines through the various schools at Claremont Graduate University and the highly-esteemed Claremont Colleges Consortium.
