The Financial Times (FT) has released its annual global MBA Rankings in January 2009. Wharton Business School (University of Pennsylvania) and London Business School are ranked as the joint Number One school for their MBA programs. This is the first time that a UK business school headed in the world mba league table!

Harvard is ranked 3rd this year, followed by Columbia, Insead and Stanford.

There are six business schools from the United States made it into the Top 10 list, the other four schools are from UK, France, China and Spain.

Shanghai-based China European International Business School (CEIBS) is in the 8th position. The Indian School of Business is in 15th place. Nanyang Business School in Singapore is ranked 24th globally.

University of Cambridge: Judge is 2nd in the UK and 17th in the world, while The University of Oxford: Saïd is 3rd in the UK and 20th globally.
