About the College
Audyogik Shikshan Mandal (ASM – Industrial Education Society), was established in 1983 to meet the needs of the industry, society and student community. The motto of ASM is “Excellence in Management Education, Training, Consultancy and Research for Success.” During past 22 years it has produced executives and entrepreneurs of top grade to suit the various requirements of the industry.
There was a gap between industry and the students and hence to bridge this gap ASM started providing education from KG to PG leveling management and information technology under its umbrella. The Institute of Management & computer Studies is one of Institutes venture in Thane with a mission of speeding education, it aims to groom students to suit the Industries need of skilled professionals. It has an advantage of proximity to the industrial belt the institute has conductive environment of study & balances the theory & practical aspect of education.

Full time Courses
Master of Management Studies (MMS), Basic Qualification:-Candidates who have appeared for the common Entrance test (CET), G.D. & P.I. conducted by the competent Authority for the academic year 2005 – 2006 and secured Non-Zero CET score. Candidate who has appeared for MAT/ATMA/CAT etc may also be considered for G.D. & also P.I. for management seats.
Part time Courses:-
Master in Marketing Management, 3 years part time (M.M.M), (A course of University of Mumbai)
Masters Degree Programme in Financial Management, 3 years part time (MFM), (A course of University of Mumbai)
Master Degree Programme in Human Resources Development Management, 3 years part time (MHRDM), (A course of University of Mumbai).
Eligibility: The candidate should possess a Bachelors Degree in any faculty from a recognized University.

About the Campus
The IMCOST is has an excellent infrastructure& atmosphere which make students free & fresh. The Institute is committed to provide excellent infrastructure in its 56,000 sq. Feet Building.
Books are not only the friends of man but the most essential companions on the route to Education. The in-house library has a spacious stock room, Reading Hall for staff & the students. Wide range of Management literature, huge collection of books, journals & CDs. It subscribes to 50 periodicals & 1100 e-journals. The Library has initiated the computerization of its services & activities. Moe than 5000 books are available, as well as the CDs of good management topics are available for the faculties as well as students any time. The business magazines, news papers & journals updating the knowledge of the students.
The computer lab with fully equipped instruments like LCD monitors, all required software’s and 24 hours Internet access is provided. 3 computer labs are available, 2labs for the MCA course & 1 lab is for MMS course is provided, and the Institute is well equipped to train students with 200 strong computers the labs are beehives of activity.
A flurry of activities is seen in the class rooms The Institute has very specious class rooms. Equipped with all Teaching Aids like LCD projectors, speakers, OHP, traditional writing board & white board’s etc.Every facility which is required for the management students is available. The teaching aids used include: On-line Training , Use of LCD Projector, Use of OHP, Use of Pictures, Clippings and Transparencies, Exclusive use of Internet,Seminar Presentation by Students and Industrial Experts, Use of Video CD’s and Cassettes, Industrial visits, Port visits.
If classroom provides food for the though, canteen caters to the taste buds. Institute canteen has provided a wonderful facility for the faculties & students. Specious & clean premises foster hygiene & make the experience enjoyable.
For the purpose of the meetings, group discussions & conference the well designed conference hall is available. Equipped with good audio-visusual aids, it fosters the interaction between people.
Physical activity energies the person especially when he has more hectic schedule. The Institute has the gymkhana for indoor & outdoor sports, like carom, chess and table-tennies out-door sports like football, cricket.
The Institute has Seminar hall and Conference room wherein students & faculty can organize guest lectures, group discussion, workshops, presentations and other personality development programmes.
Major functions are held in major places. The auditorium has a always been venue for various co-curricular & extra curricular activities like seminars, induction, fresher party, guest lecture etc.
