International University For Human Transformation
About the College
International University for Human Transformation was established under an act of Legislature of Chhatisgarh state under Sub Section (1) of Section 5 of the Chhattisgarh Nizi Kshetra Vishwavidyalaya (Sthapana Aur Viniyaman) Adhiniyam 2002 Vide Gazette Notification No. F73-78/2003/HE/38 dated the 4th July, 2003 of the Government of Chhattisgarh, to facilitate and promote studies in emerging areas of higher education with focus on new frontiers including Technology, Pharmaceuticals, Medical and Paramedical sciences, Environmental Studies, Agricultural Science etc. as well as to achieve excellence in those and related areas through research.
International University for Human Transformation (IUHT) has been promoted by the Society for Human Transformation and Research (Regd.), with an aim to build a World Class Research University. SOCIETY FOR HUMAN TRANSFORMATION AND RESEARCH (SHTR) is a registered Society under the Societies Registration Act - XXI of 1860.
The distinguishing feature of the society is that it has been promoted by the luminaries from the field of academics having national and international recognition. It was the dream of some academicians that there should be an institution dedicated to sustainable human development through transformation of human beings, the most important creature on this earth. IUHT is the fructification of that dream, an institution dedicated to the human and institutional development for the betterment and progress of the global society. IUHT is committed to excellence in education and research aiming at the development of competent and humane professional managers. To fulfill its mission, the institution aspires to do pioneering work in the fields of education, training, research, executive development and consultancy.

SCS is devoted to provide the right kind of placement opportunities (both National & International) to the deserving candidates particularly in the field of Management and Information Technology. For Global Placements we have tied up with Universal software Solutions (USS) Inc., USA and SDI Technologies, Australia. A web based portal by the name of SHTR Career solutions (SCS) dedicated to career development and placements has also been launched. About the Campus
IUHT has a rich computerized library with a large section devoted to text books supplemented by reference books in almost all areas of management and information technology. Library is also equipped with carefully selected periodicals and journals (Indian and foreign). Latest books and publications in all the disciplines of education and other allied areas are also available for providing relevant research support to the students.
All students have direct access to library resources not only of their own college but also of other colleges to promote interdisciplinary interaction.
IUHT has a state-of-the-art computer laboratory, equipped with the latest hardware and licensed software. The lab comprises of Pentium-IV class Servers for Windows NT and LINUX, with multimedia systems, adequately matched and supported by a host of printers, scanners, modems and other peripherals. The computer center has 24 hrs. 192 kbps dedicated connectivity to the internet, which is available to students even after college hours. The lab is connected to the IUHT intranet, which enables students to get access to internal Mail and other services.
IUHT has a special focus on research so as to complement the learning process by adding new, innovative and latest dimensions of knowledge. IUHT has a dedicated team for exploring opportunities in the area of emerging technologies as well as research opportunities in interdisciplinary areas. The research centers of the University are dedicated to provide excellent research facilities to the faculty members, research associates, fellow scholars as well as students to find new paradigms of knowledge and set new benchmarks in various areas at the national as well as international level.
IUHT focuses on collaborative researches from various centers of excellence in India and abroad. The focus of the University on Research is very high. The faculty and the Scholars are facilitated in the best possible way to further the cause of research in their respective areas of interest. The faculty members are motivated to write research articles on the basis of various empirical, exploratory and other research studies done by them. IUHT has laid special emphasis on publication of the research articles contributed by researchers from India and abroad.
