- HHL Leipzig Announces European Career Track in MBA Program - Handelshochschule Leipzig (HHL) in Germany has announced it is beginning a European Career Track (ECT) as part of its full-time MBA program.
Through a partnership with Audencia Nantes School of Management and MIP Politecnico di Milano, HHL MBA students with the necessary language skills can take courses and do internships in Italy, Germany, or France, and will benefit from the career networks of the partner schools. Students from these schools will also have the opportunity to benefit from HHL's network and connection to local industries.
For more information about the track, please visit the HHL website . - Xavier Williams Offers New Health Industries MBA Concentration - Xavier University's Williams College of Business in Cincinnati, Ohio has announced a new Health Industries MBA concentration that will begin this fall.
According to the university, the five-course concentration "will prepare students to work in industries involved with medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biotech, diagnostic equipment and furniture, physician offices, insurance companies, nursing homes, long-term care centers, government agencies and more."
For more information, please visit the Xavier Williams website . - IE and Brown University's New EMBA Program Launches in Spring 2011 - Madrid's IE Business School and Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island are preparing to launch a new Executive MBA (EMBA) program next spring. The 15-month program will combine online teaching with five face-to-face sessions in Madrid and Providence. Graduates will receive a degree from IE.
The program is "designed for senior managers with more than 10 years of experience who want to develop their entrepreneurial mindset and gain a deeper and much richer understanding of the global business environment."
A virtual information session about the program is scheduled for September 9.

Mannheim - Grenoble Business School to Launch New Global EMBA in January - Grenoble Graduate School of Business (GGSB) in France will be launching a new, "multi-site" Global Executive MBA in January 2011. The program will take place in eight locations where the school has campuses and offices: Grenoble, Geneva, Moscow, London, New York, Singapore, New Delhi, and Beijing.
The part-time program will run over two years in a series of intensive week-long sessions at each of the different locations. Students will be required to enter the program with a minimum work experience of ten years with at least five at the managerial level.
Grenoble Business School is triple-accredited by the Association of MBAs, EQUIS, and AACSB.

The afternoon info event is designed for prospective MBA students to get more information and meet representatives from participating business schools (listed below).

For more information or to register, please visit the event website . - University of Essex Launches Full-Time MBA Program - The Essex Business School at the University of Essex will be launching a one-year, full-time MBA program on its Colchester campus beginning this September.
The new program will feature two "core" modules - Sustainable Business Strategies and Innovation and Entrepreneurship - along with other compulsory and elective modules.
This is the first MBA program offered by Essex Business School, which also offers MSc and PhD programs in accounting, finance, and other management-related subjects.
For more information, please visit the program website . - Calgary Haskayne Launches Energy EMBA and "Early Morning" MBA - The University of Calgary Haskayne School of Business has announced plans to launch two new MBA programs.
The first is a part-time "Early Morning" MBA program to begin in January 2011. The new program will offer MBA courses in downtown Calgary from 7 to 9am three days a week.
The other new program is the Global Energy Executive MBA that will be offered together with IHS Cambridge Energy Research Associates (CERA). The program will be delivered over 18 months (from June 2011 to October 2012) in 5 3-week modules taking place in Calgary, London, Houston, and other global energy hubs in Asia and the Middle East.

Information about the "Early Morning" MBA can be found on the Haskayne website . - Bologna Alma To Launch Brazil-Europe Business Relations MBA - The Alma Graduate School / University of Bologna is introducing a new Brazil-Europe Business Relations MBA concentration beginning this October.
The new one-year, full-time program is for students with at least three years of working experience. It is taught entirely in English, and will consist of two parts: general (core) management courses and courses specific to Brazilian-European business relations.
According to the university, the new program is part of a partnership between the University of Bologna and the Brazilian Embassy in Italy to promote and support new joint projects between Brazil and Italy. The program is open to students from all nationalities.
